Learn to design & make a 'Simple Dress' in this simply fabulous fashion design class.
In this class we will be creating a simple dress from scratch.you will learn techniques on how to create a simple pattern from a few measurements for a simple dress. Choose from Maxi, skinny Jersey, straight pencil dress. The class includes all handouts, your own pattern, plus fabrics that you will use for your finished garment.
Skills taught:
- Taking correct measurements for yourself and others.
- Simple Pattern making techniques
- Construction methods and details but may not get to the actual making in one session - although skills and techniques will be discussed.
