Every Tuesday evening is Beginners Night with Miss Libby Rose.

In the first half of the class you will learn all the ins-and-outs of the machine including:

- Threading up
- Tension
- Needles and the uses - shapes - sizes and why!
- Bobbins - how to thread them - change tension, why they are used and how to trouble shoot
- Different makes and models of sewing machines - why some are better than others
-  Thread types
- Stitch length, width, how what and why
- Stitch types - how what and why..

The Second half of the class is the fun bit! We create a project using the skills learnt in the first half. Choose from a cushion cover, clutch purse, belt, hat or bag.
