Description

This child friendly event incorporates healing plants and herbs into crafts.

We will be producing small simple envelope style cushions... These will be fabulously decorated using all sorts of fabrics and habberdasery using crafty inspiration from the RHS Hyde Hall Gardens and (templates will be on hand for those finding it hard to do)

Then the participants will choose from all sorts of smells of dried herbs that can be used (woth wadding) to stuff the cushions.

There will be a choice of dried lavender, rosemary, hops or rose petals for a fragrant pillow that they can take home.

A visit will show that by choosing the right plants for the right places and by working with the prevailing conditions, it is possible to create a garden of beauty.
