First Saturday Market @ Surrey Docks City Farm:

Following the very successful Spring Fair at the farm on 22nd May when over 1,500 people visited, enjoyed the brand new Frizzante Cafe, and joined in on making the 'Surrey Docks Farm Patchwork' amongst the many other activities...... we are pleased to announce a monthly 'First Saturday' market at Surrey Docks Farm - from Saturday 3rd July

Surrey Docks Farm is a working city farm in the heart of London. It's a delightful taste of the countryside, with animals, plants and craft activities, situated a stones throw across the river from Canary Wharf. It provides visitors with unique opportunities to learn about farming and food production and become actively involved. The herds and flocks are farmed with specific attention to animal welfare.

Saturday 3rd July will see the first of the new monthly markets down at the farm, with local traders trading from 10-5pm. There will be interactive workshops*, including crafts and sewing with Miss Libby Rose, and all sorts of wonderful sights, sounds, tastes and smells. It will be an innovative and regular market at the farm for local produce, arts, crafts, clothes, collectibles and delightful surprises.

*Interactive workshops with Miss Libby Rose at the Farm Market will cost between £5 and £10 per person per session, all materials included. In these drop-in sessions you can make a farm inspired item, or 'aromatic crafts' that you can take home with you! Fancy a go? Come down to the farm and find out more!
