Create a simple 'Swanky Shopping (tote) bag.'This bag making workshop is especially designed for the crafty absolute beginner. It is a great way to get cracking on the basics including cutting out and laying out fabric, sewing seams, seam allowances etc. Of course we would love you to have done an intensive absolute beginners class before this, but if you just want to 'have a go' at sewing for beginners without making the commitment then this sewing workshop is for you!
Swanky Shopper for kids: This class is the same as above but the kids version. We welcome any age on the class, and it runs in conjunction with the above class. These bags are great to be used as school book bags for library books. For the younger students we can concentrate more on decorating the outside of the bag using appliqué techniques rather than technical details such as seam allowances etc.
